2-Inch Stainless Steel Anti-Siphon Solenoid Valve, Normally Closed, PTFE Seal, Threaded NPT

The Morrison Bros. 710SS in 2" NPT delivers high-flow fluid isolation in a normally closed, hung-piston configuration, rated to 105 PSI with a CV of 26. At this size, the valve is best suited for main supply or return headers in large-scale data center liquid cooling systems (including CDU inlet/outlet connections, facility-level loop isolation, and trunk lines feeding multiple rack rows in hyperscale or HPC environments). Like all 710SS models, it fails safe to the closed position on loss of power or control signal, blocking siphoning from bulk fluid headers in the event of a downstream leak or system shutdown triggered by a leak detection array.

The 304 stainless steel body and PTFE seals handle deionized water, glycol blends, and synthetic dielectric fluids without ion leaching or elastomer degradation, which is critical for maintaining fluid purity in micro-channel cold plates. Zero pressure differential operation ensures the valve opens fully even under the low-pressure start-up conditions of large loop commissioning. The integral thermal relief feature prevents pressure accumulation in isolated segments during peak thermal loads. This 2" valve also sees frequent use in petroleum product transfer, chemical processing, and industrial wash-down systems.
