The MIFAB BEECO PVB Pressure Vacuum Breaker is an anti-siphon device designed to prevent the reverse flow of polluted water into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage. It is engineered for continuous pressure use and provides essential protection where potential health hazards exist. The assembly features a robust bronze body, plastic check valve seat, stainless steel springs, and a bonnet with a silicone rubber O-ring seal. It also includes a silicone rubber check valve disc, a lightweight plastic disc float, handles for shutting off water flow, and test cocks for winterization, draining, and testing.

Note: The wetted surface of this product contacted by consumable water contains less than 0.25% of lead by weight.

This product is not designed to protect against backpressure backflow. For such protection, install the Beeco FRP Device Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Assembly. Ensure the valve is installed with the supply connected to the bottom and in a vertical position, avoiding areas where spillage or freezing can cause damage. Adequate space for yearly testing and service is required as per local codes and standards.
