This Cim-Tek Pre-Vent Cap is designed for use with part numbers CIM60001 and CIM60002. As environmental conservation and fuel quality have become increasingly important, Cim-Tek’s original Pre-Vent design continues to meet the demand for effective vapor control. This fill cap features an integrated pressure and vacuum relief system that helps reduce fuel evaporation while maintaining the quality of stored fuel in storage tanks.

Note: The Pre-Vent cap is not intended for use with aviation fuel.

Features

• Pressure cap valve opens at 1.25 lbs cracking pressure while the vacuum release opens at 0 to .5 ounces when the tank cools
• Helps maintain fuel quality by reducing condensation and evaporation loss
• Designed to divert rain and condensation away from the fill hole
• Limits the release of vapors that escape into the atmosphere protecting the environment
