The VISI-FLO® 1500 Series Sight Flow Indicators are designed for applications with a maximum operating pressure of 400 psig (27.6 bar) and/or temperature of 350°F (177°C). One of the standout features of the VISI-FLO® 1500 Series is its exclusive 3-Year “No-Leak” Guarantee. This is achieved through an innovative radial seal that creates a constant and uninterrupted sealing force between the body and the outside diameter of the glass lens, providing a longer-lasting and better seal than conventional flat seals. Additionally, the maintenance-free design with a bolt-on-body requires no special maintenance or torquing sequence to prevent leaks, resulting in safer operation compared to units using tie rods to fasten the lens and seal to the body.
The VISI-FLO® 1500 Series also boasts dimensional interchangeability, with end-to-end dimensions that match Jacoby-Tarbox, Penberthy, and other manufacturers’ units. Available in 3/4 in., 2 in., 3 in., and 4 in. sizes, these indicators are rated for vacuum service up to 635 mm (25 in.) at 85.5% vacuum, equating to 12.3-psi (0.84 bar) vacuum.
