JME Tanks 2,500 Gallon 7 Gauge Single Wall UL142 Skid Tank w/ Drain Description Certified single wall UL-142 skid tanks are an excellent solution where portability is required. These tanks are easily moved when empty by sliding them on the integral runners. The skids stabilize the tank and maintain a fixed elevation when being moved. Skids also provide clearance for visual inspection of a tanks underside. UL-142 skid tanks are primarily designed for storing flammable and combustible liquids and are constructed of steel that meets ATM specifications. Tanks come standard with five(5) 2" bung openings and one(1) 4" or 6" emergency vent opening. The 2" standard size fill port for each tank may be changed to 4" by request. A 1" drain opening is standard. Depending on local codes, the 1" drain may be eliminated with no issues.
