DSO Fluid Handlings tri-clamp gaskets for applications requiring high temperature, chemical resistance, high resilience and an extended product life. Tef-Steel™ gaskets are able to be picked up by a metal-detection system and X-ray machines to prevent contamination of the process line. Silicone gasket material offers temperature resistance, weather (UV and ozone) resistance, and fire resistance . It has very good compression set resistance allowing it to maintain a proper seal over many years. Their blue color means they're also easily spotted and removed if a piece falls into your line. If a piece wears off, fragments as small as 1 mm can be picked up by a metal-detection system to prevent contamination of your process line. Tef-Steel™ gaskets are a 50/50 blend of modified PTFE & 316L atomized and passivated treated stainless steel. These gaskets offer leak-proof, perfect surface performance with outstanding durability in SIP (steam in place), CIP (clean in place), WFI (water for injection) and hot oil applications. Ideal for sanitary steam pipe systems and connections in extreme temperatures. Tef-Steel™ gaskets strength provides extended use time because it eliminates cold flow and creep which helps in preventing maintenance problems and downtime. Available in sizes 1/2 in. to 4 in.
