Hygienic Connections for Space-Constrained Piping

The Dixon Sanitary 14WMP Series short weld ferrules provide a reliable, leak-proof transition between butt-weld lines and tri-clamp connections. These ferrules have a compact 1/2-inch profile and are engineered specifically for high-purity environments with limited installation space. The 316L stainless steel construction prevents carbide precipitation during the welding process, ensuring the structural integrity and corrosion resistance of your joints. With a 32Ra surface finish (polished 150 grit OD/180 grit ID), these fittings minimize microbial adhesion and facilitate thorough Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilize-in-Place (SIP) cycles.

These short-weld ferrules meet 3-A Sanitary Standards (Authorization #621) and are ideal for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and biotech applications. They're also increasingly selected for data center liquid cooling manifolds where compact, fail-safe connections are vital for protecting sensitive electronics.

  • Material: 316L stainless steel for superior pitting and crevice corrosion resistance
  • Certifications: 3-A Sanitary Certified and compliant with ASME BPE specifications
  • Pressure Rating: Working pressure up to 250 PSI
  • Sizing: From 1/2" up to 10"
  • Applications: Dairy, brewery, bakery, cosmetic, and nutraceutical processing lines, as well as data center liquid cooling
  • Origin: Made in the USA

JME also offers the Dixon Sanitary short-weld ferrule in 304 stainless steel (G-Series). Choose 316L stainless steel over 304 for applications involving high chloride concentrations or aggressive chemical sanitizers, because it provides superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
