Dixon Boss® RBU9 Stainless Steel Clamp 3/4 in. Hose ID, 2 Bolt Type and 2 Finger

Boss® clamps 2-bolt type with 2 gripping fingers and 2 clamp sections are designed to bend as they are tightened to conform to the hose outside diameter. Tighten bolts to their specified torque value. Clamps will need to have bolts re-tightened periodically due to pressure changes in rubber hoses. Boss® clamps are for single use only- once they are removed they need to be discarded. The RBU9 clamp for use with Boss® System stems and couplings.

Installation

• When installing stainless steel bolts and nuts, the use of anti-seize or anti-galling lubricant is advised. A light coat is required on the bolt threads to prevent thread galling and artificial torque reading.
• Torque values for clamps are based on dry bolts.
• Bolts in Boss® Clamps are designed to bend as they are tightened which allows clamp to conform to the hose outside diameter
• Always tighten bolts to their specified torque value
• Periodic re-tightening of bolts is required due to "cold flow" phenomenon present in all rubber hoses
• Boss® Clamps are for single use only! Once removed they are to be discarded
