The Cim-Tek Pre-Vent Cap supports fuel conservation and environmental protection by helping reduce evaporation in above-ground fuel storage tanks. Built with a durable cast-iron base and a vented cap, it features an integrated pressure and vacuum release system which maintains fuel quality and minimizes vapor loss.

The Pre-Vent is Cim-Tek’s original flagship product and remains a trusted solution for fuel system efficiency and compliance in many applications.

NOTE: Not for use with aviation fuel.

Features

• Pressure cap valve opens at 1.25 lbs cracking pressure while the vacuum release opens at 0 to .5 ounces when the tank cools
• Helps maintain fuel quality by reducing condensation and evaporation loss
• Designed to divert rain and condensation away from the fill hole
