Checkers ground protection mats are used to get equipment through, mud, sand, snow and marsh/swamp land conditions. Used for access to and from remote sites and provide a stable work area in industries such as construction, landscaping, oil & gas, utilities and civil engineering. The temporary access ground protection matting also prevents environmental damage to agricultural land, heritage sites, and sensitive environments, and cross contamination between sites.

AlturnaMat® is a high load capacity mat with an aggressive diamond plate top and smooth bottom, making it ideal for use over soft or sensitive ground conditions in construction, civil engineering groundwork and event industries. The mats are made of rugged recycled 1/2 in. (12.7 mm) thick polyethylene, making it virtually indestructible. The AlturnaMat® can withstand loads up to 120 tons* and is flexible to follow contours of the ground for a highly effective access solution over rough or sloping ground conditions. The ground protection mat can be easily deployed and moved with out any special equipment and has strategically positioned hand holes.
