Durable Cast Iron Gate Valves for High-Viscosity Fluid Transfer

Engineered for the demanding environments of industrial warehouses and processing plants, these Syracuse Stamping Co. gate faucets are a reliable way to manage non-flammable viscous fluids. Each unit features a rugged cast iron body finished in black enamel and a machined, lapped brass faceplate for a drip-free, airtight seal. To prevent messy turbulence and material waste, the valve is designed with an oval discharge opening angled between 45 and 60 degrees, providing a steady, splash-free flow even when dispensing thick substances.

These faucets are optimized for materials with a minimum viscosity of 2,000 cPs, making them an ideal choice for the following applications:

• Industrial Lubricants: Heavy oils & light greases
• Manufacturing Materials: Varnish & thick chemical resins
• Food Grade Bulk Liquids: Molasses, honey & heavy creams

The extra-long 4-inch handle provides the necessary leverage to operate the gate smoothly under pressure. These valves can be padlocked in sizes up to 2 inches to prevent unauthorized dispensing or tampering.
