Reliable Vibration Dampening and Corrosion Resistance for High-Pressure Systems

Shurjoint Model 7707 Heavy Duty Flexible Coupling is engineered for industrial piping systems where moderate to high-pressure performance is required. Made from durable ductile iron and finished with a hot-dipped zinc galvanized coating, this coupling provides enhanced corrosion resistance for demanding environments like data center infrastructure, wastewater treatment, and maritime services.

Its flexible design is purpose-built to maintain joint integrity by accommodating axial displacement, thermal expansion, and seismic tremors. By absorbing vibration and noise, the Model 7707 protects sensitive equipment and compensates for minor pipe misalignments or distortions in the layout. This coupling is equipped with a high-performance Grade E-pw EPDM gasket, making it an ideal solution for potable water, deionized water, and glycol-based cooling loops.

Key features:

  • Performance: Rated for working pressures up to 1000 PSI (69 Bar) depending on pipe wall thickness
  • Temperature Range: Operates effectively from -30°F to +230°F (-34°C to +110°C)
  • Compliance: The EPDM gasket is approved under NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 for potable water
  • Hardware: Heat-treated carbon manganese steel track bolts (ASTM A449) with minimum tensile strength of 110,000 PSI
  • Warranty: 10-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects

Note: EPDM gaskets are not recommended for petroleum, mineral oils, or steam applications.
