Newson Gale BAC Break Away Connector

Newson Gale's BAC Break Away Connector fits in line with the grounding clamp and cable. If the Road Tanker / Tank Truck is driven off prematurely, the grounding clamp and the male half of the Break Away Connector (BAC) assembly separates from the remaining cable thus mitigating further damage to the installation.

Warning: Using the Breakaway connector does not remove the risk of injury/damage occurring should good working practices and relevant safety rules not be followed. The operator should always remove the clamp from the vehicle once the transfer operation is complete and before the vehicle is moved at all.

• Vehicle Drive Offs: Only the clamp and BAC assembly need to be replaced to enable the grounding equipment to be up and running again quickly
• Easy Installation: Fits existing Earth-Rite grounding systems fitted with quick connectors
• Easy Operations: Will not separate during normal operation but will separate if a drive off occurs mitigating damage to other system components
• Routine Maintenance: Please apply petroleum jelly to the inside of the joint between the male and female connectors - this will assist the Break Away Connector to separate easily
