All-Stainless Liquid Relief Valve with FNPT Connections

The Kunkle Model 140 is a general-utility liquid relief valve constructed entirely of stainless steel: body, bonnet, disc, nozzle, and spring. This makes it ideal for non-code liquid systems where corrosion resistance and fluid purity are a priority. This valve is set to 150 psig with a rated capacity of 10.2 GPM at 25% accumulation, and features a ½ in. FNPT inlet and ½ in. FNPT outlet. The angle-lapped seat and PTFE O-ring and gasket wetted components provide tight shutoff and resist leaching into sensitive process fluids such as deionized water or water-glycol solutions used in liquid cooling systems.

The compact size suits installations with limited space, including coolant distribution units, pump skids, and manifold assemblies. Back pressure up to 50 psig (3.45 barg) is permissible, though back pressure over 10% of set pressure increases set point on a one-to-one basis and reduces capacity. Each valve is factory tested for pressure setting and leakage prior to shipment.
