Gizmo Engineering's Battery Powered with Relay Alarm Box (AB-5) is an alarm box that is both battery powered and powered off of relays. The alarm box will sound the alarm when a contact is either open or closed. It is similar to the AB-1 model, but has more flexibility. One of the biggest advantages of the AB-5 is it's extremely long-lasting battery life. If the alarm is not acknowledged after an hour it goes into a “power conserving” mode which limits the alarm to a duration of 6 seconds, every 30 seconds.
