JME Company Overview

In 1974, the John M. Ellsworth Co., Inc. (JME) was founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by John Ellsworth. His original focus was distributing hose, valves, meters, couplings, and pumps throughout the Midwest. Always being mindful of opportunities to improve and expand his offering, he was determined to solve his customers’ problems. That vision has evolved JME throughout the years and now JME distributes a wide range of petroleum equipment worldwide.

JME has continually grown by adding new equipment lines, developing great employees and adjusting the sales & marketing strategy to keep up with changing customer buying habits. In the early 2000’s, we created a series of industry-specific catalogs. The current catalog scope includes the main Petrochemical catalog, Oil & Gas Fields, Agriculture & Construction Equipment, Loading Systems, Service Stations, Chemical Equipment, Fire Equipment, Sanitary Equipment and a “Best Of” catalog. Our E-commerce website at www.JMESales.com supports our customers all over the world. The site contains an expanded selection of available products that can be conveniently purchased online with a credit card, PayPal or on an open Account. Customers who create an account can manage their orders online, create re-orders and get updates on the progress of shipments.

JME owns and operates our business out of a 50,000 square foot facility with about 50 employees. We serve our customers by having products in stock for “same day shipping” whenever possible, competitive prices, knowledgeable sales staff and a strong portfolio of products to support a “one-stop shopping” experience. As you can see from our website, we carry multiple lines of pumps, meters, nozzles, hose, reels, gauges, tanks, valves, couplings and adapters to support all types of fluid storage, transfer, and dispensing applications. We currently sell to tens of thousands of customers in Service Stations, Farm/Ag, Aviation, DEF, Marina, Fuel Oil Delivery, Chemical, Food & Beverage, Fleets, Pharma, General Industrial and Government markets to name a few.
