Emerson Fisher's C486 Series Internal Valve is designed to shutoff remotely or automatically when flow exceeds valves rated capacity or if the valve is sheared off due to an impact. The C486 has an integrally cast inlet flange to quickly bolt to existing installations that historically required a valve to be threaded into a flange. The outlet is 3 in. FNPT.

These valves are typically used in bobtails, transport trucks and on large stationary storage tanks.
