DSO Fluid Metal Detectable X-Rayable EPDM Gaskets

DSO Fluid Handling EPDM gaskets are able to be picked up by a metal-detection system and X-ray machines to prevent contamination of the process line. Metal detectable gaskets are impregnated with stainless steel particles. The addition of stainless steel allows a gasket or gasket pieces to be found with metal detection equipment.  If a piece wears off, fragments as small as 1 mm can be picked up by a metal-detection system to prevent contamination of your process line. Their blue color means they're also easily spotted and removed if a piece falls into your line. EPDM gaskets provide superior resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, provide excellent chemical resistance, and good electrical properties. Available in sizes 1/2 in. to 4 in.
