Compact 304 Stainless Steel Ferrules for Sanitary Processing

Dixon Sanitary 14WMP Series short weld ferrules provide a secure, streamlined transition between permanent weld lines and removable tri-clamp connections. With a compact 1/2-inch profile, these ferrules are the industry standard for high-purity systems where space is at a premium but hygienic integrity cannot be compromised. Made from 304 stainless steel, these fittings have a precision-polished 32Ra surface finish (150 grit OD/180 grit ID) to eliminate pits and crevices, effectively preventing bacterial growth and ensuring successful Clean-in-Place (CIP) performance.

These short-weld ferrules are 3-A Sanitary Certified, making them an excellent choice for a wide range of applications in the food, dairy, and beverage industries. Their space-saving design is also highly effective for data center liquid cooling racks, providing reliable, leak-proof sealing to protect critical infrastructure in tight configurations.

  • Material: 304 stainless steel for reliable durability in standard sanitary environments
  • Certifications: 3-A Sanitary Certified (Authorization #621) and ASME BPE compliant
  • Pressure Rating: Rated for a working pressure of 250 PSI
  • Sizing: Available in sizes ranging from 1/2" up to 12"
  • Applications: Brewery, bakery, dairy, and general food processing, as well as data center liquid cooling
  • Origin: Made in the USA

JME also carries the Dixon Sanitary short-weld ferrule in 316L stainless steel (R-Series). While 304 stainless steel is ideal for many standard food-grade applications, you should choose the 316L version for processes involving high chloride concentrations or aggressive chemical sanitizers to ensure maximum resistance to pitting and corrosion.
