Rapid-Release Grooved Pipe Joint

The Anvil Gruvlok FIG 7003 Hingelok® Coupling is engineered for industrial systems that need frequent pipe removal or reconfiguration. This coupling significantly reduces downtime during maintenance cycles because of its permanently hinged ductile iron housing and a tool-free cam-action handle. The integrated spring steel locking pin provides a critical secondary measure of security, ensuring the joint remains closed under vibration or shock loads.

Designed for a maximum working pressure of 300 PSI, the FIG 7003 offers a reliable, high-strength solution for critical pipe joints without the need for specialized assembly tools.This specific configuration includes a Grade "T" Nitrile C Style gasket, making it the preferred choice for petroleum-based services and oil-saturated environments.Optimized for Hydrocarbons: The Nitrile gasket (orange color code) is ideal for petroleum applications, mineral oils, and air containing oil vapors.

• Construction: Grade 65-45-12 ductile iron housing finished with rust-inhibiting orange paint
• Temperature Range: Reliable performance in service temperatures ranging from -20°F to 180°F (-29°C to 82°C)
• Sizing: Available for nominal pipe sizes from 1" to 8". 1" to 4" models use toggle link plates, and 5" to 8" models have a heavy-duty toggle bolt

Note: This coupling is not for use in hot water, hot air, or copper systems.
