The Scully 31766 Clamp and Cable Unit is designed for use with the Sculcon Junction Box, Model SC-47CC/CLMP, to ensure safe static grounding during liquid transfer operations. The clamp attaches securely to bare metal on vehicles, railcars, or other metal tank containers and connects to the Scully Groundhog™ grounding verification system. Using a safe signal, it verifies that a proper static bond is established, helping to dissipate static charges generated by fluid movement.

Note: For certain applications, such as rail lines or pipelines with stray currents, the rail or pipeline must be independently bonded to ground. Local codes should be consulted regarding wire gauge and conductor requirements.
