Heavy-Duty Fuel Monitoring for Stationary and Mobile Tanks

Rochester Sensors 8680 Series is a robust, top-mounting magnetic liquid-level gauge designed for precision in demanding industrial environments. Specifically engineered for tanks up to 30” deep, this UL-listed spiral gauge is ideal for monitoring middle distillates like diesel and gasoline in stationary or mobile fuel tank applications, such as standby generators. The 8680 model features a high-visibility, top-reading fractional dial that is magnetically driven, ensuring that fuel vapors never reach the UV-rated lens or compromise the gauge's integrity. For advanced monitoring needs, these gauges are "Remote Ready," allowing for an easy conversion to remote output by installing an R3D dial and Hall Effect sender module.

Built to withstand harsh conditions, the 8600 series utilizes a die-cast zinc head and nitrile rubber float, rated for tank pressures up to 25 psig. Note that while the standard construction is optimized for diesel and oil, models equipped with optional stainless steel support rods are required for fuels containing more than 10% ethanol or 30% bio-diesel.

  • Connection Size: 1 ½" MNPT tank connection
