The Jikoh 4 in. JDG-105 Series Sight Glass is engineered for use with ethanol and biodiesel fuels. The JDG-105 Series has been successfully tested both in laboratory settings and in real-world petroleum trailer applications carrying E-10, E-85, 100% ethanol, ultra-low sulfur diesel, and 5% soy diesel. These tests confirm strong resistance to cracking and crazing, ensuring reliable visual flow indication and long service life in demanding fuel transfer environments.

LIMITED WARRANTY

JIKOH MFG., INC. warranties its OPTI-LITE® brand sight glass to be free from material defects or workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of sale to the original purchaser.

Since JIKOH MFG., INC. has no control over the use of our sight glasses or type of fuel or additive that the sight glass may be subjected to, we cannot warranty those sight glasses that have cracked, crazed or have turned cloudy or yellow. Additives that may adversely affect our sight glasses include, but are not limited to:  

BENZENE, METHANOL, MTBE, NAPTHA, TOLUENE and XYLENE

It is the owner’s responsibility to adhere to good maintenance procedures to replace any component that may be adversely affected by any of the above additives or a combination thereof. Sight glasses should be inspected daily for signs of cracking or crazing.
