Dixon Sanitary 16AMP Series end caps offer a cost-effective, high-performance sealing solution for tubing systems in standard processing environments. Forged from 304 stainless steel and meeting 3-A sanitary standards, these solid end caps provide the same mechanical seal as their 316L counterparts at a lower price point. They're ideal for applications involving water, dairy, or beverages where mild detergents are used for cleaning.

These end caps are also used in modern data center liquid cooling applications because of their thermal stability and compatibility with glycol-based fluids, ensuring a clean, leak-proof seal that prevents internal scaling in sensitive cooling channels.

While the 304 stainless steel version (G-Series) is the workhorse for general purpose applications, specific environments require the 316L stainless steel version (R-Series). Consider your process requirements to ensure long-term equipment integrity:

• Choose 304 stainless steel (16AMP-G) for standard dairy, water, or beverage lines and closed-loop cooling systems using standard coolants.
• Choose 316L stainless steel (16AMP-R) if your process involves salty or acidic products (such as citrus or pickles), high-concentration deionized water, or aggressive Clean-in-Place (CIP) chemicals like bleach that can cause pitting in 304 steel.
