272 HDI Series Internal Emergency Valves

DUCTILE IRON BODY AND INTERNALS / TEFLON® FITTED AS STANDARD

Often referred to as "fire valve". Used to shut off in the event of fire. Fusible link holds open spring actuated lever. Body mounts at the base of an aboveground tank with poppet end projection inside the tank, thus the designation "internal". Ductile iron body and internals, Teflon® fitted as standard.
