Drum handler mounts quickly to the forks and is secured into place by turn-down bolts. To operate, fork lift driver approaches drum with mast of truck tilted slightly forward. Jaws open as you lower unit onto drum. As the forks are raised, jaw automatically close over the rim and tightens the grip. Drum is now securely held by the jaws and can be transported. To disengage, the fork lift driver lowers the drum into position required, jaws automatically open and release as you set drum down, tilt mast forward, and simply back away.
