272 Series Internal Emergency Valve


Often reffered to as a "fire valve." Used to shut off flow in the event of fire. Fusible link holds open spring actuated lever. Body mounts at the base of an aboveground tank with plunger end projecting inside the tank, thus the designation "internal." 212º Fuse link standard. Brass body and brass internals, Viton® o-ring. Threaded mounting connection. Teflon® fitted available (Viton® encapsulated Teflon® o-ring and Teflon® packing). 4" x 3" also available with stainless steel shaft.
