Single Wall Vertical Tanks With Double Bottoms

Double bottom tanks are constructed with a second bottom head and partial shell to provide added protection and interstitial monitoring capability between the tank floor and the grade surface. A 3/4” monitoring port is provided at the base of the shell and acts as an inspection port to assure that the interstitial floor space is free from product of groundwater.
