Single Wall Rectangular Lube Tanks

A standard single wall tank uses a single sheet thickness of steel meeting ASTM specifications. Material thicknesses from 12 gauge to 3/8” of either mild carbon steel or stainless steel can be specified. Structural integrity is achieved with joints employing continuous exterior fillet welds. A factory air test and seam inspection ensure tank integrity. UL-142 tanks are supplied with an emergency vent fitting of sufficient size to accommodate the intense increase in vapor pressure in the event of fire exposure.
